In times of uncertainty, at VSH we try to provide answers so that your plans to study abroad and share a flat with young people from all over the world do not stop.

What security measures are being taken in the apartments to minimize the risk of contagion of the residents?

Vanguard Student Housing guarantees that the cleaning service meets all the requirements established by the Ministry of Health.

In addition, all apartments will have hydroalcoholic gel at the entrance of the apartment and disinfectant spray for cleaning shoes, which must be left at the entrance of the apartment.

The student buildings will have hydroalcoholic gel at the entrance of the building.

The use of disinfectant gel and spray is mandatory upon entering your student flat.



New reservations

I intend to study in Barcelona in the coming months. What happens if I make a reservation and finally have to postpone or cancel the trip?

If you have to cancel your trip for the following reasons:

- Closure of borders of the destination city.

- Closure of borders of the city of origin.

- Complete cancellation of the course or classes for reasons of total closure.

The amount of the deposit will be returned to you, or it will be saved for when you can come.

 

What happens if classes do not finally start on the dates I have booked?

If the classes do not start on the scheduled dates, you can modify the entry date of your reservation without penalty.

 

What happens if the course is canceled in person?

If the face-to-face course is finally canceled for the following reasons:

- Closure of borders of the destination city.

- Closure of borders of the city of origin.

- Complete cancellation of the course or classes for reasons of total closure.

The amount of the deposit will be returned to you, or it will be saved for when you can come.

 

 

Students already staying with us

 

I have left my belongings in my student flat, how can I get them back?

 

You have several options:

A - We pack and store your things until you can come and collect them.

Displacement and packaging of your belongings:

or € 60 for travel and packaging

o Additional € 6 for each box (provided by Vanguard Student Housing)

or an additional € 3 per suitcase (the student's own)

 

The cost of storing your belongings is € 20 / month for each box or suitcase.

 

B - We pack and ship your things to you freight collect.

 

Displacement and packaging of your belongings:

or € 60 for travel and packaging

o Additional € 6 for each box (provided by Vanguard Student Housing)

or 3 € extra for each suitcase (the student's own)

 

The shipping cost will depend on the carrier, weight, destination, etc.

 

 C - If you prefer to give up your belongings, we can donate them to an NGO.

 

I want to stay in my student flat again next year.

If so, we will proceed to suspend your contract until you return, to reactivate it upon arrival. We keep your deposit for your new stay.
