Location
Gran Vía 598
University apartment located in the heart of Barcelona, just in front of the UB campus in Plaça Universitat.
You will live a few minutes away from Passeig de Gracia, which is chatacterized by being one of the most important avenues thanks to the numerous modernist-architecture works. In its surroundings you will find one of the best-known and most important shopping areas in the center of Barcelona, such as Plaza Catalunya and Portal de l'Àngel.
Zone description
If you look at a map of Barcelona you will see a regular grid area that covers the entire center of Barcelona, above Ciutat Vella, and from the Plaza de Les Glories to Plaza España. That is the Eixample, characteristic for its square apples with large interior patios, designed by the architect Cerdà.
It is the place where you should definitely live if one of the things that has most fallen in love with Barcelona is its modernist architecture. The central axis is the Passeig de Gracia, where several of the most impressive buildings of the city are concentrated: the Casa Batlló and the Casa Milà are two of the most visited buildings by tourists from all over the world. This walk divides the Eixample into "Eixample izquierda" and "Eixample right" where the Sagrada Familia is located. Most of our university apartments are in the Eixample of Barcelona.
